Review trademarks, prior site use, backlinks, email reputation, registrar status, renewal cost, transfer lock, and whether the seller can prove control.
For meaningful purchases, use a reputable escrow and registrar process, define the asset and transfer steps in writing, and do not rely on a screenshot as proof of ownership.
Use organization-controlled accounts, strong authentication, registrar lock, recovery records, auto-renewal, and a calendar independent of one employee.
